One of the members of the faculty does not want students to be able to submit file assignments after the due date has passed. Can you consider a feature where an instructor can set this parameter in his course? Currently student can still submit them - they just show up as Past Due. He prefers they work like the discussion forums and tests, where they are no longer accessible after the due date.
