Filter Optional Books

We really need a way to differentiate optional books from required.  Our bookstore manager is currently  checking every course page against the term book list to sort out the optional books. This means we have to give the bookstore manager Academic admin access.  A simple filter would be great. Instructors typically have the following types of books.  In a perfect world, it would be great if Populi could track.

1. Required for all students

2. Required but students have a choice to pick for example 2 from list of 5.

3. Optional-but there is an extra credit assignment if student purchases and completes.

4. Optional-not required just for students reference

I have currently instructed all faculty to not use the Optional book feature.

  I was wondering if this is still something that could be done. I'm having the same issue this year. I have no way to differentiate between required and optional books and so it's very difficult to order new books (we don't order optional books).

  Matt McCaul - The term book list has differentiated counts for enrolled/required, auditing, and optional. The list is available as an export in Bookstore and in Academics > Academic Term > Courses. If you need further assistance please reach out to  support via a support request.
