Currently the scale direction is set from lowest value to greatest, and from Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree, follows the Likert convention. Could you please add an option that lets us flip the direction in the future.
Also, there isn't currently a way to set "N/A" to a zero value there. Can you please add that option so we can choose to start from 0 or start from 1?
This would also benefit course evaluations at my institution. We would like the likert scale direction to be adjustable or flipped.
We prefer to lead with a positive option and have the most positive option paired with the higher score. Presently if we sequence response options in a positive to less positive order, for example: Very Effective, Effective, Somewhat Effective, and Not Effective, the best most desired response results in a score of 1 and the least desired response results in a score of 4. On a 1 to 4 scale most would assume a higher score would be the better score.
I would be very pleased to learn if this is something that may be a future update to the software.
