Seeing notes/letters based on roles

Currently under the Activity Feed we can choose a person or the system to filter notes/letters.  It would be very beneficial to be able to do it by roles, i.e. Discipline.  This would allow us to quickly filter on issues the pertain to several people who have the same role, and anyone could have added it.
