I tried the "make tests not visible before start date" feature. I was surprised to find that a student could not see the test listed under the assignment tab, but that they could still see it under the test tab. That seemed strange to me. I recommend adding an option so that a prof can make a test not visible to students under the test tab. I would prefer that students would still be able to see the test under the assignment tab, so making it an option to make the tests invisible under either tab separately sounds like a good solution.
