It would be useful if the Lessons availability date was not restricted to the course start/end date. Many of our faculty would like to use an "Introductory" lesson as a place for general course introduction that students can access and begin preparing for the course once registered and before the course start date.
I also think it would be useful to make the Lesson availability date as optional...i.e. leave it blank and it is available always. I see no reason to force the instructors to set an availability date on lessons. If they are ok with students accessing the content earlier than intended, let them make that choice, don't force it in the system.
If either of these is a quick change it would be extremely useful to us right now as we are currently in our pre-term.
