We have January and Summer intensive courses that run at least 3 weeks and up to 5 weeks.
Often faculty want students to proactively engage in the course material before the start date of the courses to be better prepared for the short and intense fast-paced term.
Is it possible to allow the availability (open up) the "Lessons", "Assignments", and/or the "Discussion" tabs alongside the "Dashboard" and "Info" tabs before the start of the course dates - specifically for the January and Summer Intensives?
We do not want to change the start/end dates of the courses due to Federal Aid compliance requirements. Reporting is dependent on the start/end dates.
We would just like to have a solution to help faculty and students exchange information within Populi before the course start date. Faculty have been using email to exchange information beforehand, but this has not been a successful method. Students depend on Populi to find information regarding the intensive course expectations (assignments, lessons).
