Different course features are important to different institutions. For example, the most important course information for our students to see at registration time is:
Course name
Start/end date
# Credits
To show students the start/end date, we are adding the date range to the course title -- which is a fine temporary solution, but impacts the transcript in a less-than-desirable manner, creates long titles, and involves more work. If schools could select which of the course information is important to their registering students and make those fields visible, schools could create a better registration experience for their own students.
