Sync courses with different course numbers (e.g., cross-listed courses)

Please add the ability for Populi to sync two classes that have different course numbers.

I am teaching a course that is cross-listed. This means that I have both graduate students and undergraduate students in the same classroom at the same time doing the exact same work and being graded exactly the same way, so I want them to have exactly the same things in Populi.

BUT, due to cross-listing, the graduate and undergraduate students are officially in two different course numbers, so they are in two different courses in Populi. As a result, if I make a change in one course in Populi, I have to go make the same change in the other Populi course, which runs the risk of getting the Populi pages out of sync if I forget to do something twice or do it slightly differently the second time.

The solution for this is to sync the courses automatically, so that when I change an assignment (etc.) in one class, the same change propagates automatically to the other class in Populi. Unfortunately, Populi only allows syncing for courses with the same number (e.g., two sections of the same class). So please add the ability for Populi to sync two classes that have different course numbers.

CLARIFICATION: I am talking about syncing, not cloning. The registrar can already clone a class to another course with a different course number in Populi. But cloning only brings the two classes into alignment once, so if I later make a change in the class (e.g., change an assignment), the two classes become different. What I am requesting is the ability to sync the two classes so that changes from one propagate to the other automatically. Populi can already do that (sync the classes), but only if the two courses have the same course number.
