Adding API functionality to the Library portion of the platform would enable more technologically-minded librarians to automate and customize the process of working with resource and patron records in bulk.
Including basics such as {Add/Get/Set:Resource/Patron/Agent} would allow lots of functionality without the immediate need for more granular functions corresponding to each and every possible field.
