If students complete tests according to schedule, I know when to check their test results and to mark any questions that need grading.
Frequently, however, I have students take tests at various times, not following any particular schedule, but I don't know when to check their test results because students don't typically tell me that they have completed their test...although sometimes I find out a week or two later when the student is asking me if I've graded their test yet.
My suggestion: add an option for faculty to receive e-mail alerts for when a student has completed a test. This could be an option that we choose from when designing the test.
