Transfer Equivalency System

It would be extremely helpful to have a Transfer Equivalency section or transfer crosswalk, per se, for Populi to "remember" specific transfer courses added to previous students and counted towards a specific course at my institution. 

For example: Joe Smith transfers from ASU and one of his courses was ENG 101 and we credit him CGI 101. Then, Jane Smith transfers from ASU on a later day and also has ENG 101- we would want it to auto populate as CGI 101. 

It would minimize errors and be more time efficient on our part if Populi could remember that "we've seen this before".

  This would help us too. We have many students transferring the same courses from the same institutions.

  This would help us too! Even if we could set them up manually as equivalencies like we do within our own catalog that would be helpful.  This would allow the degree audit function to be even more useful by making these transfer credits auto drop into the course groups rather than having to assign all transfer credits.  We would do this for our top transferred schools.

  I agree. This would be extremely helpful as many of our students our transferring in the same courses from the same institutions.

  Is anyone using a third party system with Populi for credit transfer and degree audits?

  This would be an immensely helpful feature for us too. We have a significant number of transferred courses that show up regularly as well.
