A second accounts receivable account in which rent is posted to as opposed to being included with the tuition receivable

As we are looking to move our housing activities into Populi, it would be helpful if the rent/utilities charges were posted to a separate accounts receivable account that is not the same account where the tuition and fees charges are posted to. This would be very helpful so that we can keep up with how much students how for rent/utilities vs. tuition and fees. I am afraid once these are combined it will be difficult to unravel. This information is very pertinent to our administration as they need to know the difference between the receivables. Thanks!
