The IRS disclaimer on donation receipts currently reads “No goods or services were provided by The Institute for Worship Studies in exchange for this donation.”
Our Accounting office, following IRS guidelines (I’m assuming this is because we are a faith-based school), has always used the text “No goods or services were received one change for contributions, except for intangible religious benefits. Federal Tax ID 59-3576254.”
Is there any way this text can be adjusted per-school?
