When a financial lock is placed on a student account, the lock notification appears on the Student tab page. Because of this, students are blocked from viewing grade information, but on the Grades tab page there is nothing to let the student know what is going on. They just assume there is a problem with Populi.
When a lock is applied that affects the ability to view grades, a notification needs to also appear on the Grades tab page so students will have some instruction on how to resolve the issue.
