We would like our student workers to be able to add resources to our library. Last semester we made them library admins, so that they could add resources and edit the resource entries. This was helpful as our duplicate copies did not all import correctly. This semester, however, we now have all of our student information in the system. We would still like our student workers to be able to import resources and edit resource entries, but they cannot be library admins, as they would be able to see confidential information about their peers. Would it be possible for the role of library staff to have the ability to add resources and edit resource entries. This is the only further permission that our institute needs.
It would be helpful if other institutes with different library needs would comment on this thread.
