Please add the ability to change default Registration View. We would like to change the "Show" option from "Available courses with no conflicts" to "All courses," and the "Campus" option from "[Student]'s Campus(es)" to "All". The current default settings have to be changed for every student we register, leading to so many steps just to enroll students in their courses each semester.

Adam Sentz Tiffany Walstad - If you could explain more about how you are using registration it might help up better understand the problem you are having. Most of the time the registration page you are referring to is used by students to register themselves for classes. So having it restricted to campuses to which they belong and courses where they meet prerequisites that don't conflict which each other is desirable. If you are registering students yourself there are options available beyond using the self-registration page that may be more efficient depending on your circumstances.

Tom Varallo I'll jump in here. I have the same request. (FYI, we have our students self-register). The reason that automatically setting the Registration to "All" would be desirable is because registration for the next period occurs before final grades are entered for the current period. Thus, students who are currently taking a pre-req needed for an upcoming class, won't actually see the upcoming class available to them. If they know to ask, they do, and then as Registrar I manually enroll them. But if they don't know to ask, then the opportunity is lost for another year until that class comes around again.

Tom Varallo I guess I should say I have a "similar" request as the OP. The Campus selection is not an issue for us. It is only the "All Available" menu that we want to be able to set to default.

This is not true. Being enrolled in a course counts as meeting the prerequisite for the purposes of registration. They don't need to have completed the course. If a course hasn't been completed Populi assumes they will pass. If students aren't seeing the courses you expect please reach out to Populi Support so we can help you figure out why.
