Hi!
It would be beneficial to have the Preferred Name be an option for the Text Variables on the Student ID Card Template. Right now, I can only add content variables from First, Middle, and Last Names. It would be helpful if we could retain the quotes around the preferred name. Since our school ID is not a form of legal identification, we think it might be helpful for some students to have their preferred name in addition to their legal name on the ID.
I agree! This would be a great addition especially for folks who never use their first name.
We would also find it helpful to have a way to differentiate Students, Auditors, and Faculty/Staff. We're printing the ID cards 10 to a page using business cards, so while I can create duplicate templates for each - we end up wasting a good amount of the Avery cardstock. It would be best if I could select some kind of text variable that would differentiate between Students, Auditors, and Faculty/Staff. Any ideas?
