Visibility Option for Course Bulletin Board

It would be super helpful to have a feature where Admins could write on a class bulletin board and chose visibility options, similar to Notes in a student's profile. Additionally, if a visibility option of one more role - "Assigned Faculty" versus "All Faculty" as technically any instructor or student can view any course would be great.

At our school specifically, there are times when a student will be marked absent and then turn in an excused absence form after the fact (say if they are sick and provide a doctor's note). I'm looking for the most efficient way to notify their faculty without clogging up emails.

  We too, would appreciate the ability to choose who sees what is posted on the course bulletin board.  We need a way for faculty and admin. to communicate with each other within a course.  We need something that is not viewable by the students.  It would be wonderful to be able to post something and choose who it is visible to - either a specific person in the course or all faculty in the course or all students in the course or all students and faculty in the course.

  Alternatively, we need some other way to communicate within a course with the faculty of that course and not viewable by the students.  Perhaps a faculty bulletin board?  Or a faculty only discussion?  Something would be very helpful.  Thank you for your consideration of this important feature.

  Maybe like a Notes tab that Academic Admin, Registrar, and Course Faculty can use?
