Course Access Financial Lock

Hello,

 

We have many students who take advantage of the system. They will enroll in courses, but not pay for their fees, and subsequently not care about the financial lock since it only limits grades and transcripts. A feature that I think would be very important is that as soon as their is a financial lock, they are either dropped immediately from the courses (or some warning is given), or they are locked out of the courses until payment has been made.

  I think this is an excellent idea. There are students who would just avoid the office all together to prevent a staff member from catching them. I would even go further to add a mechanism so that when students enroll themselves on Populi they are actually not registered but go into a pending state until fees are paid. Students who have not paid would not appear on the rosters.
