It would be helpful if Populi could create an Online course shell where the course is set up and then duplicated in forthcoming terms. We need a deployment shell where only that course is modified. Sort of like container of sort.

Adam Sentz @Joel - Perhaps you could set up a term in the past, before your first real term, and put set-up courses in that term. Then you could update those courses as needed and just clone from those into new terms.

Allan Crowson That is what we do currently, but it seems a bit clumsy. For one thing, we settled on the Summer 2014-2015 term, which for our *online* program was empty. But as terms have succeeded, it moves further and further down the menu, and it will only get worse as things continue. We use it as a repository, and place online course templates there, then clone them as needed.

Benji Swafford This is a current need of ours as well. We will begin using the method you suggested Adam Sentz. This will only work for us temporarily unfortunately for multiple reasons, including what Allan Crowson mentioned.
