I would like to be able to invoice a tuition deposit to a third party (organization or individual) and when paid be able to apply the deposit to a student's account. This will be helpful when a student receives funding from a third party and that third party requires an invoice. Currently I have to create an invoice outside of Populi and then enter it as financial aid, but sometimes it is not really financial aid. It is someone who wants to pay tuition on behalf of a student. Is this possible? Please make it possible. Thank you for considering this request.

Adam Sentz Kim Huizinga - Is there a reason why you can't just invoice the student and then send the payment link to the third party?

Kim Huizinga Hi Adam
The third party requires the invoice be posted with their name as the payer. This is for a scholarship (Financial Aid) from an outside source. Would it work to invoice for a Tuition Deposit? Would I then be able to apply it to the student's account?

Kim Huizinga The third party won't pay unless they receive an invoice in their name. They need all the applicable tuition fees listed on the invoice as well. I could list the courses that it would cover on the invoice, but I don't want to invoice the student's tuition until they are enrolled in each course. Our students are only enrolled in one course at a time so I would not want to enroll the student in all the courses right away, but as they become ready for them.
