As a student, I receive notifications when grades are posted for individual assignments in a given course, but not a notification when that course is finalized. My institution gives final grades and evaluative comments that go onto our transcripts, so it would be extremely helpful to be notified when courses are finalized. As of right now, in order to see my final grades and comments, I have to log in and manually look on my student page regularly to see what, if anything has been added.
