According to my recent interactions with Populi Support, it is possible to develop automations that are triggered by the STATUS of a particular application field, or based on responses to fields selected on the INITIAL application page, but not based on applicants' responses to fields WITHIN the application itself.
Being able to trigger an automation based on applicants' responses to fields within the application (in our case, notifying the VA Certifying Official when an application is submitted indicating that the applicant may be eligible for military education benefits), would be extremely helpful.
