When creating assignments and identifying the assignment availability dates and then the due dates, our system always defaults that the time will be Eastern Standard Time. Once we put in the times for the availability and due date (according to Eastern Standard Time) it shows up on my computer where I have my computer set to (my own personal time zone).
My question.....is it not possible to set the "default time zone" for assignment due dates and availability dates according the Universal Coordinated Time? We have students all over the globe and it is a bit cumbersome that they need to always adjust when assignments are due by first figuring out if Eastern Standard Time is observing daylight savings time or not.
