It would be a great help to be able to do the following:
FIELD-SPECIFIC CONDITIONAL NOTIFICATIONS
- have notifications that trigger if students select a certain option in a certain field (e.g. Program A, in a listing of Programs).
This would enable notifications to be sent to specific professors or program directors only if a student selected a specific option while filling out the form. (Selecting program A would trigger a notification to program director A, but not B or C, and so on).
REVIEWER-TRIGGERED NOTIFICATIONS
- having notifications that trigger when a reviewer adds their signature.
When a form requires the approval of the program director, registrar, student accounts, financial aid, and library (and they must all sign their approval in a particular order), having the option only to notify people when the form is submitted (one instance) or when the form is marked by one reviewer as processing (another instance) only offers the possibility of sending out two automatic "your turn to sign" notifications (possibly three if one reviewer adds a field note to trigger a third notification, but the notification won't trigger unless the note is visible to the respondent, which isn't always desirable on the part of the reviewers). Having the option to have a notification sent to the registrar when the program director signs, and then a notification sent to financial aid when the registrar signs, etc., would greatly simplify the process of setting up notifications and streamline and automate the reviewing process for everyone involved.
