Current FA data extraction options waste valuable time

*I am at Financial > Financial Aid > Awards and Financial > Financial Aid > Disbursements.

*I am trying to save time.

*The current reporting features fail to deliver meaningful insights for my department and for others at my institution. Extracting useful data requires excessive manual manipulation, wasting valuable time. Financial > Financial Aid > Awards gives me Award Type Name and Award Type Liability Account. Financial > Financial Aid > Disbursements gives me Term. I need one report that gives me both Award and Disbursement data.

Can you combine the reporting limitations from the two sources into a single data extraction option?

  I agree that better reporting options should be in place for Financial Aid. We have struggled to pull items for financial auditing purposes over the years and currently have to pull multiple reports, including enrollment reports from Academics > Reporting, to show student enrollment at time of disbursement and then manually combine and calculate the aid for each person on an Excel spreadsheet using formulas. Having the full list of fields (available in the Data Slicer) when exporting Financial Aid > Reporting data would save us countless man hours and provide more accurate reporting. Because of this, our financial aid auditors consider the reporting we're able to provide from Populi unreliable.

  I would REALLY appreciate the same reporting ability as both commenters above.  We often need to be able to pull specific financial aid award types for a specific date the student was enrolled and the their enrollment status (currently enrolled, graduated, withdrawn) but cannot do so from the limited drop-down list in Financial Aid>Disbursements/Refunds to Source.
