We are looking for a way to optimize form notifications in our system and wanted to see if there are options for customizing them based on student location.
Our institution has two locations, Berkeley and Austin, and while administrative responsibilities may differ between them, we want to minimize the number of duplicate forms to reduce student confusion. Instead of creating two identical forms with location-specific titles, we are wondering if it’s possible to configure notifications dynamically.
Specifically, would it be possible to trigger form notifications based on a student's custom tag (e.g., "Berkeley" or "Austin") or geolocation? Ideally, we would like a setup where:
- If a student from Austin submits a form, the notification is sent to the designated person (or role) for Austin.
- If a student from Berkeley submits a form, the notification is sent to the designated person (or role) for Berkeley.
For example:
If Student Tag = Berkeley → Send notification to Person 1
Else → Send notification to Person 2
Please let us know if this functionality is available or if there are alternative solutions we can explore within Populi.
