Our audit students have a much abbreviated application process than our credit students. This semester I noticed two audit students were able to register for courses as a credit student. Is there anyway to block audit students from registering as a credit student?
Please look into the possibility of having some sort of block for audit students so they are not able to register for credit course.

This is exactly what we are looking for, too! Could there be a box to click in all applications controlling the enrollment option of enroll verses audit? They could default to both but it would be nice to have the option to only choose audit.

This is a very important feature we need to have. Auditor's should not be able to register for courses for credit. That just does not make sense.
I agree, this would save us from financial and enrollment mistakes needing corrections, not to mention inaccurate reporting due to audit students select the "Enroll" column by mistake and it not being caught before the start of class, billing or reporting . . .
We are experiencing the same issue with auditors enrolling in a class. It affects our reporting and billing. If there is no way to restrict or default auditors, what about a short video that students could watch. OR change the terminology to Credit instead of enroll. Technically, all students are enrolling, but some are enrolling for credit and others are enrolling for audit. Changing the word "enroll" to credit is a very easy fix and may alert auditors to know that they do not want to take and pay for a course for credit. Several schools are experiencing this enrollment issue that creates a lot of back end work to fix the problem. Populi needs to look into fixing it soon. My vote goes to changing the word "enroll" in the dropdown
We are experiencing the same issue where our auditors are accidentally enrolling for credit which negatively impacts our reporting and billing (and creates a lot of work on the back end for us to edit their status, edit their bills, etc). I agree with the suggestion above that a unique registration lock would help solve this issue. Another solution could be to create a new "role" with different permissions. So instead of assigning auditors the "student" role, we could assign them an "auditor" role with built in permissions that would only let users with that role enroll in courses as auditors. Our LMS currently uses a system of having different "roles" for different users (students vs auditors, etc) and it works well.
