I am created self-directed courses for our distance learning (online) program. These courses do not follow a schedule other than needing to be completed within the given term. However, when I create assignments and lessons, they show up on the course schedule (on the dashboard) out of order.
It seems that only the assignments with the type "test" are showing up on the schedule and calendar. This is true even though all assignments have availability dates.
My goal is to eliminate confusion for the student. I think there are several feature options that would help.
- The option to decide which assignments are on the schedule.
- The option to manually rearrange items on the schedule.
- The option to turn the schedule off.
