Limiting student views of their own Student ID number (because of locks)

Can we get it so that the STUDENT INFO doesn't get blocked from view for those students with Grade/Transcript Locks or Financial Locks?

Hello,

I understand that the Student Tab gets muted out to the students with Financial Locks and/or Grade/Transcript Locks.

Students sometimes need to access their student identification number listed under their Student Info in their STUDENT tab, and this is causing some issues with some of our process. (not all students receive STUDENT ID Cards, so they have no other way of accessing their STUDENT ID number other than Populi).

Is there some way we can work around this so that the students can see their student id number in Populi?

Hello Mary,

After testing this out myself, I can confirm that students cannot view their own Student ID when locked.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to find a work around at this time, however if you'd like to submit a feature request to have Student ID's exposed while a lock is applied, you can do that by clicking Help > Make a Feature Request.
