It would have entertaining, statistical, and educational applications if there was a number, perhaps on each user's info page, to track the lifetime "likes" that they have received on comments and bulletin board posts throughout the site.
For users it would encourage Populi use, and for administrators it would be a helpful way to identify the most influential and/or active users.
