I'd like to see an option that will allow a registrar to override an FN for students who have technically not been present but have appealed to the dean and been granted a grade for the course.
The current method, using "excused" absences makes the excused option open to all professors, as well as the registrar. It's too broad to give the professor access to counting excused absences as being "present", as it violates certain financial aid policies. We really need an option that is only open to the registrar to make those changes, not the professor.
