What would it take to add texting as an option that we can build into our communication plans?
Here’s the issue: we are getting leads from high school students all over the nation who have indicated an interest in our college specifically, AND, students who selected a major or emphasis that we offer.
Presently we can set up the communication plan to automatically send emails and remind us to send mail and make phone calls. However, we are finding that we can’t reach those prospective students by phone. The reason—we’re calling during our work hours when the students are in school so we hit their voice mail, which is almost never set up.
Additionally we’re being told by educators from all over the nation that high school students don’t want a phone call, they want a text message.
It would be a HUGE benefit to us (and every school using Populi) to be able to set up an automated text message that could be added as part of the communication plan.
So, what would it take to add texting as an option that we can build into our communication plans?
Thanks,
