As a college, we've moved to using Zoom as a means of delivering and receiving courses to our teaching sites. Perhaps a "pie in the sky" request, but it would be great if Populi could explore Zoom integration: https://zoom.us/integrators, integrator@zoom.us

I agree. Working with Canvas and Populi, the integration that Canvas has is absolutely incredible. This is one feature I wish Populi would develop.
We also like to see that Zoom can be integrated as a mean for online instructors to create and host their own online meeting.
We use Zoom as well for our distance courses.
Yes please...integration. As we build out our fully online cohorts, this would be ideal. Scheduling, discussion tracking, this would help take away a lot of the chaos.
We would also like to have Zoom intetgration as we are trying very hard to simplify the number of platforms we use. Only using Big Blue Button means faculty have to learn yet another application.
We would also like this feature as we are adding online learning this summer.

Adam Sentz For the Conference Feature in Populi, we can only go with one integrated provider at a time, right?
We have Big Blue Button integrated now, but with several schools who use BBB moving all of their classes online, I am wondering if their capacity will be maxed out. I would like to set up Zoom as a backup option, or we might consider switching to Zoom.
What are your thoughts?
Joel Wingo - Both BBB and Zoom can be configured simultaneously. You'll just choose which one you want to use when adding a conference.
It is wonderful that this is integrated now, but are reoccurring meetings possible? Also, are specific Zoom Rooms able to be specified? Thanks!
Jonathon Beeke - Right now it's just Conferences, but those would certainly be possibilities. Would you mind adding those two as feature requests? Anything you can tell us about how you'd use them would be really helpful.
Adam Sentz - In your official comment posted last Thursday, the second link is a 404. Can you check that please? I'd like to see that example.
Molly Jones - If you mean the yourschool.populiweb one, that's an example of what the URL would look like and not a real link. It's getting linkified automatically unfortunately, and it appears I cannot turn that off. I added a note.
It looks like right now Populi can only use the personal meeting id of the Zoom account owner. If I understand correctly, this means that only one meeting can be concurrent at a time, which is a problem for us since we have overlapping class schedules. We also license each of our faculty as Pro users, but do not license the Zoom account owner since our tech person has no need to host classes. It would be very helpful if we could specify which meeting ID or which user needed to host the meeting.
Yes, if what Kristina Avila is saying is true, this will be a huge problem for us as I am the account owner and I use my Zoom account all the time. All of our faculty and staff are licensed Zoom Pro users, and their Zoom account is tied to their Active directory account just like their Zoom account.
Kay Avila (Technical Support) Brenda Gibson - We're looking into this. Do you have a one Zoom Pro account with multiple host licenses or multiple Zoom Pro accounts?
Kay Avila (Technical Support) Brenda Gibson - We just did some testing and were able to run two simultaneous meetings with a one-host-license Zoom Pro account in Populi. I suspect the only cap in that case is the maximum of 100 simultaneous attendees per host license.
UPDATE: It appears that while you can start multiple meetings, only meetings started by licensed user account will be able to have 100 attendees and meetings longer than 40 minutes. Other users starting meetings would be "Basic" users which are limited to three attendees and 40 minute meetings.
I haven’t played with this at all, so forgive me if I am not understanding. Since the integration was set up using the Owner’s Pro Account (me), all meetings would then be associated with my Zoom account for all faculty. And if that’s the case, then if they record those lectures for future use, I would have to manage that content to get it to the rightful owner? It would be much better if the integration worked so that the pro account associated with the actual faculty member using Zoom would be used for their meetings.
Brenda Gibson - If faculty record the session they should be able to download the recording from Zoom when they end the session.
Adam Sentz - I have one Zoom Pro account with multiple host licenses.
I apologize that I may be spreading bad information. I opened a support ticket and received this clarification:
"We check for a zoom user in the account using the populi user’s primary email address. If one doesn’t exist, we create one and Zoom will email an invitation to accept/activate. We don’t use the primary account to create the meetings.
Those individual accounts should be host accounts that allow those users to manage the meetings like any other host."
So it looks like it was a limitation with my testing (I created and launched the meetings) and I need to have my faculty test. If they're launching the meetings as themselves, that will be fine.

Hey Everyone,
It's come to my attention that many of you are entering the JWT Token from the App Credentials section instead of the Verification Token in the Feature Section into the Zoom Webhook Verification Token setting. If you do this Meetings will still launch, but Populi will not be able to tell when they end.
If what you have entered in the Zoom Webhook Verification Token setting starts with eyJ and is really long (like 100 characters) and has a period in the middle - that's the JWT Token! It should be 20 some characters long. If you need help please open a support request.

Is there support for viewing the recordings inside of Populi? Does some trigger need to happen in order for them to show up?
I noticed I had some recordings showing this morning from test meetings from last night, but I had also been changing accounts/etc. on the backend and had deleted them already inside of the Zoom account, so they were broken (as would be expected). Testing recording meetings this morning, I'm not seeing them show up immediately in Populi (even when they're showing in Zoom), so I was wondering if there's some delay or batch job.
(Edit for clarification: These are for cloud recordings.)
Kay Avila (Technical Support) - Yes, the recordings will show up in Populi once they have finished processing over on Zoom's side.
I don't seem to have access to administrate integrations. Is this something to follow-up with in-house with my institution or with Populi?
Rex Howe - You'll need to speak to one of your institution's Populi Account Admins. If you reach out to Populi Support via a support request we can let you know who those people are.
