Some of our online courses have actual meeting times, which we require students to attend. When we add these meeting times in the course Info tab, it creates a place to take attendance in the Attendance tab. However, when we want to look at an overview of an individual student’s attendance for that class, what would usually happen is this: 1) Go to Roster tab, 2) click on student’s individual name, 3) click on the Attendance tab, and 4) see the overview.
But that’s not possible for online courses. You only see the online participation portion.
Is it possible for online courses that do have required meetings to have the individual attendance overview option made available? I know we can go into the Attendance tab, select an individual name in the Show drop down menu (change from All to the student’s name). But it is a bit easier to see the attendance overview that is found in the individual student part of a course.
