Our school's policy is that the student's first absence is considered "excused". Would it be possible to have a running tally of Present, Tardy, Excused, and Absent next to the student's name when taking attendance. This could look much like the quick glance in the calendar. (e.g. P:8 T:2 E:1 A:1). Only it would give the student's individual attendance record instead of the classes total record. Thanks.

Adam Sentz @Benjamin - If you open the course roster in another tab/window you can see the attendance summary for a student by hovering your mouse cursor on the info icon next to their attendance percentage.

Aaron Woods 1.) How can we get the super helpful info icon (i) that shows up on the roster page on a populi course under the attendance column to also show up next to the students name when we take attendance with populi's attendance feature? At our institution we mark the first 6 absences as "excused" regardless of reason and any absence after that is an "absence" which negatively impacts their grade. If I as a prof could quickly see how many absences they had already, that would save me a lot of time later tabulating student absences. :) Adam Sentz
