It would be nice if members could be added to Groups based on tag or role rather than individually. We could have a group for Alumni, or Faculty, etc.

Adam Sentz @Rev. Thomas - It's true that you can't bulk invite people by role or tag, but you can create make groups only available to users with certain roles via the Membership setting. Users still have to choose to join the group, but if you created, for example, a private group that is only open to the Faculty role, and then emailed your Faculty to let them know about it, you'd get pretty close.
