The Data Slicer includes Filter, Columns, Aggregate, and Reports options. It would be helpful if Columns was added to Admissions Reports as well (Admissions > Applications > Summary). Currently there is only Filter, Load, Save. This would allow us to do what is done in Data Slicer: add columns to what has been filtered (and save the report with the columns).

Toby Robinson Official comment You can now save field sets in the export helper. Read all about it here: https://support.populiweb.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260803015730-Using-the-Export-Helper-when-exporting-reports

Michael Mardis Yes, please!

Michele McCloud This would be so helpful!

Benji Swafford This would be a game-changer for us. It's definitely in the top 3 of our "most needed" features when it comes to reporting...

Alli Sorensen This is quickly going to become a crucial element for us. Having this would significantly benefit our admissions reporting.

Adam Sentz The Applications Summary report is not architected like the Data Slicer, but if we had some idea of what additional information you need to export we could consider possible solutions.

Kristen Olver For our institution, it would be helpful to be able to run Admissions Reports through Populi, including data such as number of open applications per program and degree (ie: Graduate Degree, Master of Arts in...), number of fully completed applications (per program/degree), apps currently in Committee Review, number of offers made per program/degree, and number of confirmed/denied/deferred/etc acceptances. At this point, I have to run these data numbers separately and put them into a report saved in a Google Sheet doc.

Adam Sentz Kristen Olver - I think you may be able to set up some saved filters on the Applications table to help with those. Can you open a support request so a rep can walk you through it?

Alli Sorensen We have both weekly and monthly reports that pull a lot of demographic information - city, state, zip, gender, as well as source, date applied, date of app completed, date of deposit, date of cancel, cancel reason, source, admissions rep, academic program, specializations, test scores, GPA, I am sure there are a few others I have missed. We will definitely be using (we are in the middle of transitioning our system) the saved filters, but because we run these reports frequently, adding the columns each time (and trying not to forget one) is going to become very time intensive vs. the data slicer that can save the entire report. Open to ideas that will help us with both time and consistency.

Adam Sentz Alli Sorensen - Thanks, that's helpful. We have been looking into having saved export field sets. I've added this thread to our internal issue tracker.
