Inventory valuation report at FIFO

Currently Populi posts cost of goods sold using the FIFO method, but the Inventory report uses Average Cost to report the inventory value, so there is no way to balance the inventory to the general ledger other than forcing adjustments every month. Can we please have the FIFO balance of inventory items added to the inventory report? Average cost is useful, but not for verifying that my general ledger and inventory ledger agree.
