Use "blank" for exporting when no grades are recorded

We run a grade report of selected students (athletes) each week to watch for early signs of problems with grades.  We flag anything below a C-.  Currently, if you export a class where no grades have been recorded it shows up as an "F" on the export.  Could that be changed so that the export is blank or "NI" (no information) or something other than F?
