Our faculty have expressed a desire for an option in the content editor to allow a standard formatting dropdown picker for common HTML tags (Heading levels, paragraphs, quotes, etc.). In discussing this with Populi support staff, we explained that while the options of color, size, and font effects allow for greater flexibility, some faculty just want to use a standard H1 or H2 tag and not do all the prettifying. A standard drop-down picker would be welcome for a quick one-step format instead of having to separately choose font size, style, and color for any heading or other text formatting.
Isaac Grauke ended up responding to the support thread with, "Paul, I see what you are after! This would make a great feature request if you haven't already submitted it to the feature request forum."
So I am officially submitting this as a feature request. Thank you for your consideration.
