It would be really helpful to have a mechanism for cloning selected lessons without overwriting all the lessons. I spend many hours editing specific items in general lesson spaces.

I agree. We have established a specific layout for lessons. I am having to spent 10-15 minutes just building the heading and content structure before I can start entering content for that lesson. For an instructional designer, it would be advantageous to create the basic form once, then replicate it for 15 weeks.
Add my vote to this request as well! It would be very nice to be able to copy select lessons from one course to another without having to copy all lessons.
We concur fully. Yes please.
Yes, please add cloning individual lessons.
Yes, I agree with this, and had previously entered a feature request for this. Note, that on my feature request, there were 11 upvotes, which I would hope count toward this feature request, as mine was closed due to it being a duplicate. This feature would be very useful for instructional designers, but also for anyone using a main course that pushes content out to courses with enrolled students. This is the case at our institution, and I'm sure others do the same in order to create content "offline" from students and push it ahead each term, or even when teaching multiple sections using multiple faculty.
Molly Caldera, M.A. - Sorry about that. I would have caught the dupe post right away, but it I was out of the office for the day when you posted, and then had a baby the next morning and didn't come back until two days ago. What matters perhaps even more than the votes is that this is obviously a good idea. I'm sure those other folks will upvote this one soon.
Adam Sentz you don't have to apologize, certainly not for being unavailable after having a baby. I only mention that mine had additional votes to emphasize how many people find it useful. I'm also used to Canvas LMS, who uses upvotes as a way to democratize which ideas get pushed through. If that is not the case, or if a good idea is simply a good idea and gets pushed through, then I don't need to stress about it. Thanks for updating me, and congratulations on the birth of your child!
I absolutely agree. We need to be able to copy lessons WITHIN a course and from course to course. Copying and pasting, element by element, is tedious and can result in serious errors. Definitely something you need to work on.
I keep seeing total support among instructors.... is there any time frame for actually doing something about this? Are the staff monitoring this?
Mrs. Goldie Silberberg - I read 100% of what's posted here. I commented that I think this is a good idea six weeks ago. We don't have public timelines for feature development, but if there's any news we'll post it here.
Hi gang,
I am new to cincollege and wish to transfer my CANVAS course into the POPULI Learning system. I am wondering if any of you have experienced the same road, and how you managed to do it.
Thanks for your consideration,
Steve Larkin
Steve Larkin - If you have questions about using Populi please reach out to Populi Support.
I'd like to be able to import a lesson from one course (e.g., a previous section) and add it to another. It would save hours of repetitive work and reduce risk of error. Computers can copy more accurately than humans.
Yes, this would be very welcome functionality.
Ditto on importing lessons from one course to another.
Are there any updates on this feature request? Supporting many faculty who are eager to see this as an option. Thanks!
Same here - this is vital for cross sections of courses.
I totally support this message. Importing individual lessons between courses would be very helpful!
Tried to vote yes, but it wouldn't let me - this would be SO helpful.
Ms. Kathy Harty - Maybe you've alredy upvoted it? Is the upvote button circle darker than the downvote?
