When a conference is created, the notification to students is sent only after the faculty/host starts the conference. There is no notification to the students well-ahead of the meeting time. For example, when I use my Zoom account, I schedule a meeting and send the link to participants few days before the meeting and a reminder goes the morning of the meeting. Currently there is no option for the faculty to do it on Populi.
