It would be helpful to have the ability to duplicate lessons that are being built in the lesson area of the course, instead of having to re-type the same title each time. For instance from a design perspective, I want to use the same titles of lessons for each week, so students can navigate easier. This includes:

Assignments
However, I have to type each of these 15 times in the lesson area.
Not sure how to explain this in a more direct way, but hope it makes sense.
It seems like what you want could be accomplished if there were an ability to create a "shell" lesson, and then you could copy that lesson a bunch of times and customize it each time.
As Populi exists today, you could also create a shell course and then create copies of it. That way you would only need to do it once. I think the main problem with that would be that it would potentially cause all your courses to be instances of the same course.
Another way that might be better in current Populi would be to create your shell course, export it using Common Cartridge, and then create new courses, but import the shell via Common Cartridge as a starting point.
Rachel Bomze - I agree that lesson duplication would be really handy. Mind if I re-title this request?
Evan Donovan - Not relevant to this particular request, but Admins can clone courses with non-matching course numbers. So you could set up shell courses in a fake term in the past and maintain those as templates to clone into new terms.

I could see cloning lessons as being also advantageous though, so I will vote for this request too.
