Create a way to filter professor-initiated discussions from student-initiated discussions

I wonder if you might create a way to filter discussion threads via the "Show" drop down box on the Discussions page. I would like to be able to distinguish between discussions started by the instructor and those started by students. Especially when teaching a large class or asking students to create multiple discussion threads the list gets very long. But in the midst of that list might be several threads that I have begun and which I want students to pay special attention to. I would like to be able to tell them that they can filter for "Instructor discussions" and just focus their attention on those discussions I have initiated. Thanks for considering this.
