Gender preference should be a more visible option for all students, faculty, and staff in Populi. It should be part of the edit name/personal information area. Currently, the only way is to enter the information in the Bio. Let's all get with the program and provide a more inclusive platform that displays to people a commitment to diversity. Having a work-around doesn't show commitment.

Adam Sentz Frederick Ranallo-Higgins - You can create a Gender Preference custom field in Contacts > Manage > Custom Fields. It's not currently possible to make a custom field visible to all students, but that's something we can consider. I can see how that would be useful sometimes. I should note that FERPA defines gender as "non-directory information" so I would think making a Gender Preference field visible to all students would likely not be permissible.
