Course interactions with other schools in a consortium using Populi

It would be most helpful for us if a link of some sort could be developed between the Populi courses we offer and the other school in our consortium who also uses Populi. At the current time, it means that the faculty member teaching the course has to first set up the course in their 'home school' Populi, and then get status on the other school's populi program and copy the material over to it. It means, however, that the faculty member has to monitor two courses instead of one, and there is no possibility of interaction between the students from our two schools. If we could somehow link them, then we would only have to upload the course and course material once, and all the students taking the course (including those from the other school) would be on the same page.

We've considered putting all the students from both schools into only the host school's Populi, but then the host school is paying the student charges AND the registrar from the other school still has to set up the course in their Populi, so that the marks would appear on that student's transcripts. All of this is very cumbersome and time consuming.
