Faculty ability to edit Student Discussion Board Posts

I know that students can edit or delete their own discussion board comments, that others can report inappropriate comments, and that faculty and TAs can delete student comments. Recently, a faculty needed to edit a student comment but discovered that feature is not available (he could only delete the comment). Is the ability for faculty to edit / redact students discussion board comments something that could be added in a future release?
