Payment Plans

When an invoice is placed on a payment plan and there is a fee for the payment plan, could the fee be added to the invoice total instead of creating a separate invoice for the fee?  Posting an invoice for $2 or $10 for a payment plan fee doesn't make sense to me.  I would really like it if it could be added to the invoice and then the payment amounts could include the payment plan fee.
